Each photo he took buzzed faintly, like static and memory. His camera was tuned to loss. A shot of a doorway carried the hum of laughter once there. A flower held the sound of footsteps once near it. People didn’t see his work—they heard it.

Exhibitions Played in Complete Darkness

At his shows, lights stayed off. Visitors stood in silence as speakers read the photos out loud in tones made of emotion. One woman claimed she heard her father’s lullaby. Another fainted, overwhelmed by a sound she couldn’t name.

Sound never disappears. It just waits for someone to remember what it meant.

The Photograph That Refused to Be Taken

He once tried to capture silence. The moment cracked his lens. After that, he stopped photographing things. Instead, he pointed the camera at people’s thoughts and let it click once they forgave themselves.
